Our hearts are touched.
Join us in creating a new story for the children of “Portia’s House" in Buswalla, Uganda.
The first project of Portia’s House is to purchase land and build a home for fifty-two+ orphans who currently reside in a two-room rented hut - Heavenly Blessings Orphanage - with a lean-to outdoor cooking hut and a one-hole dirt bathroom in a shanty town outside of Uganda. Please join us in giving these precious children a safe haven to live and grow.
We are partnered with
World Youth Horizons, a 501(c)3 a
global non-profit organization that provides support to youth around the world by providing food, shelter, education, and experiences to help improve their economic conditions and to encourage youth to expand their horizons.
We are currently raising funds for land and to build a house that the children can be safe, warm and dry! Your CONTRIBUTION through World Youth Horizons is Tax Deductible and 100% contributable to the efforts to build a new home for the children of the Heavenly Blessings Orphanage.

It's Real ...
In September of 2022 I visited the sweet children and orphanage director Mayanja Rogers at Heavenly Blessings in Buswalla, Uganda.
I immediately decided that they must have what all children should have the right to have ... a place that is safe, clean, and warm. I saw a small hut that housed over 50 boys and girls, a makeshift cook tent with palm fronds and a deflated bike tire holding down the roof that Kizza managed, and a single bathroom down a path in the jungle.
My heart aches for these children ... I know my mother, Portia, would feel the same way and want to help them! "
